I have been driving a 2015 Lexus GX460 for a few years now, and it is great for adventures and getting around town. But the tech inside is non existent. Thanks to Carlinklife, I now have an updated head unit with a ton of features, tech, and CarPlay.
If you are more into tech upgrades to your unit, then Carlinklife might be a better path for you. Carlinklife is more Android based and have more options for you if you decide to do more things to its firmware or apps in the future. Install the unit was easy. The customer service and products are also reliable. So far so good.

As promised, a quick unbiased review of the carlinklife unit for gx460. Once working, unit seems to be operating great and is a massive upgrade from OEM unit. Overall really happy and recommend.
The total time to complete the job was less than two hours, even without prior experience. My vehicle now includes Carplay and Android Auto. Apps run seamlessly from my cell phone, including Spotify, Google Maps, iHeartRadio, Waze, Whatsapp, Phone, and many more!
Carlinklife’s customer support was 100% responsive too all my concerns and addressed all the corrections that I couldn’t figure out. Plus, this looks killer compared to the OEM dinosaur radio screen and I love the idea of opening any app I want on demand.
Added wireless apple carplay to my 2017 on the stock headunit. Extremely easy plug and play install. Quality is okay, not perfectly crisp on the display. Connects quickly, and works! So overall, I’m happy with it.
I got the installed Carlinklife CarPlay upgrade for Maserati Ghibli. Wired and or wireless, instant connect just like any other car with CarPlay. Works flawlessly. I’m really excited! Just like in my other car, it works great. Google Maps, Waze, Spotify… everything I need, all perfect!

Car play module for 2020 infiniti qx60
This Lexus GX460 12 inch radio is a game changer for me! The crisp display is seamless. the integration with android auto and Apple CarPlay make Driving more enjoyable and convenient. Installation was straightforward, it only took about 2 hours and the performance and user interface is flawless--responsive, stylish and packed with features. Quick access to Google play store and a back up camera or two of my favorite things about this radio. I highly recommend it as a upgrade for your GX 460 I really enjoy mine!
I was a little bit skeptical about this, but you should have no worries. The product is very easy to install, and with the advanced options you can enabled some cool stuff as Climatic control.
Mine camed without aux adapter, I did not need it for the sound cause I use BT, but I need it for sharing sound on mirroring screen. So I discussed with Andy on mail, he responded very fast and sent me an aux.
It's cheaper than original licence on GLB and its full screen + wifi, so take my money.
I bought my GX460 with the screen already installed and not sure how I missed the airbag sensor being on. that is what it is, glad I found this site and was able to buy the harness to fix the airbag sensor light being on.
This was a gift for my girlfriends car because she loved the one in my truck so much she didn't want to use her cars out dated system.
For a person with little car knowledge who never attempted this before found it to be quite easy to install and no broken parts thankfully. She uses an IPhone while im use to Android. I haven't tried to see what all it can do yet, but soon will see what all I can do with it. It looks like I can simply plug in a lot of really cool features. (Any recommendations)?
I was leaning towards the 360⁰ camera view.

I was mildly skeptical regarding overall function of this unit considering the very competitive price. Frankly, I am more than satisfied. It has exceeded my expectations to date, albeit one week.
All inherent vehicle control unit functions are retained, and the steering wheel controls also remain functional. The most concerning unknown was integration with the existing backup camera. The backup camera functions as it always has, automatically invoking as soon as the vehicle is put in reverse. The Car Play audio continues to play without interruption while the camera is engaged. As soon as the vehicle continues in drive, the multimedia screen returns to CarPlay.
The installation guidance is somewhat vague as the linked video shows install for another vehicle. The general concepts transfer over, and I was successful in one try. Be sure to test it before reassembling your dash! Also, be sure to reconnect the climate control panel as well or the multimedia buttons will not work.
Overall a great value and the CarPlay experience transforms my commute.

Was nervous given the large expense if this would work, but I had a professional installer put it in and while it took 4.5hrs to complete, it works as promised. Can’t be happier.

I love this system, I have a Jaguar F-Type and the one thing it’s missing is CarPlay. This unit functions perfectly and was more affordable than any of the others I found. Install took about 2 hours because I have a convertible and had to do some extra stuff but once I got it installed it was great. I had one issue where there was some static in the background of music, but when I emailed the support team they helped me through it and now it sounds great! I would highly recommend the car link life unit over any of the others!
Overall, I really like the unit. Would 100% get a ground loop isolator before installing this. Otherwise, amazing customer service and relatively easy install.
I usually never write a review. This unit is so good! I was thrilled when I found it and amazed now that it works on my car! The installation process was easier than I thought. No complains so far. It works great! I am very satisfied with the purchase. Do I recommend this? Yes! 200% RECOMMENDED!!!
The device arrived with every tool needed for the installation, the instruction were complete, not super clear to me initially but customer support was very helpful and responsive, I could figure out everything in the end ans I am very happy with the outcome.
