Why would you need this CarPlay & Android Auto module Box?
CarPlay Android Auto module Box will allow you to use all the functions of your phone available in Apple CarPlay / Android Auto wirelessly.
You can call your wife, send an SMS, avoid traffic jams thanks to Google Maps or listen to your favorite music on Spotify.
CarPlay module Box does not replace the factory system, it works with it. You can switch between systems at any time.
The rear view camera will turn on automatically when you shift into reverse gear.
If you do not have a rear view camera, our module will enable you to do so in a simple and cheap way.
You can connect an aftermarket reversing camera and a front camera to module Box without coding.

This was a gift for my girlfriends car because she loved the one in my truck so much she didn't want to use her cars out dated system.
For a person with little car knowledge who never attempted this before found it to be quite easy to install and no broken parts thankfully. She uses an IPhone while im use to Android. I haven't tried to see what all it can do yet, but soon will see what all I can do with it. It looks like I can simply plug in a lot of really cool features. (Any recommendations)?
I was leaning towards the 360⁰ camera view.
I'll see if I have it working 100% this weekend. Any input you give would be appreciated. So far it's great 5 stars. Thanks. David.

Sometimes I have to turn off my Wi-Fi and turn it back on to get the audio to play. I also cannot get the mirror function to play the video on my screen. Everything else that it does it does incredibly well and it even has a built in EQ. I would love the mirror to work but it’s the least important part of the unit to me.

The plug-and-play connectors made everything pretty easy. It took me 2.5 hours to from disassembly to installation, and re-assembly. Use the video below to help you get through it.

I've had it for around a week so far and it works great on my is350. I just had to follow a video on how to take the radio out and after everything was apart it was very easy with the instructions they provide. Apple Carplay ends up loading up faster than my phone connects to the car's Bluetooth! When you first get it go into the settings and adjust the brightness up by 2 notches and lower the saturation by 1-2 and it will look much better.

Everything was plug and play on my 2016 RX 350 (high configuration with lever/joystick). Took me about 3 hours to install and being the first time. Now I can do it all in about one hour lol! I had to set the dip switches located on the retrofit box to 1,2,3 ON. Then in CarPlay home/settings, Set Wi-Fi antenna to 6 (USA). Set wheel key Swap to No Swap. Set to Lever. Oh also the radio needs to be set to Aux in order for sound to work in CarPlay. To activate Siri, just hold down the joystick for about 2 seconds. All factory cameras, sensors and settings are retained and work normally. To go back to the OEM screen, just hold down the Lexus Menu button for about 3 seconds and same to go back to CarPlay. Cheers!
